Davis Offshore L.P. engages primarily in the business of natural gas and
oil exploration and production in the Outer Continental Shelf of the Gulf
of Mexico. Davis Offshore believes the current environment in the Deepwater
Gulf offers an excellent opportunity for medium to smaller sized indepentents.
Under the guidance and leadership of Davis
Petroleum Corp., Davis Offshore L.P. expects to extend these successes
into larger stakes exploration and production opportunities. Davis Offshore
is focused on generating exploration and exploitation prospects offshore
Louisiana in depths of 500 to 6,000 feet of water. The presence of existing
and emerging production facilities and infrastructure in this area improves
the economics of prospecting for these potentially huge reserve targets.
Davis Offshore, L.P. is committed to the Gulf of Mexico and is demonstrating
this commitment by assembling an experienced team of explorationists and
businessmen who have a proven record of generating oil and gas prospects,
acquiring the prospective acreage, securing partners in these prospects
and then finding and producing oil and gas. As explorationists, our team
has been involved in the drilling of 11 exploratory wells in the Deepwater
Gulf of Mexico. To date, Davis has assembled numerous exploration prospects,
participated in several OCS lease sales and secured third-party industry
participation.
