Davis is an independent private oil and gas exploration, development and
production company. The Company is focused primarily on opportunities in the
onshore Gulf Coast and offshore Gulf of Mexico, where it has developed
significant technical expertise and where the high production rates
associated with hydrocarbon deposits have historically provided it the best
opportunity to achieve a rapid payback on its invested capital.In late
2010, Davis also made an entry into the Wolfcamp oil shale play in West
Texas. Davis believes that this play has the potential to add significant
diversity and drilling inventory to its portfolio.
